Tata Motors is focused on customer safety and recognised it is important to always keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel while driving. Knowing it can be challenging to stay focused, especially when using the infotainment system, Tata Motors integrated Alexa AI in their latest cars. The newly-launched Tata Nexon, Nexon.ev, Harrier and Safari all have Alexa Built-in, which also allows you to control some key vehicle features with just your voice. These car models come with an innovative, smart and futuristic digital design.
Alexa on-the-go
With Alexa Built-in you can voice-control a wide range of functions in your car in English, Hindi, or Hinglish. You can set the temperature, adjust the screen brightness, operate the sunroof and more. For example, you can say, “Alexa, open/close the sunroof”, or “Alexa, set temperature to 20 degrees”. The new models also allow customers to voice-control the 360-degree camera by simply saying, “Alexa, turn on my 360-degree camera”.

Listen to your favourite music, change tracks, listen to audiobooks on Audible, and ask Alexa for jokes - all without any distractions so that driving safely is your only focus. Alexa can help you navigate, provide traffic updates, make and receive call, manage to-do and shopping lists, set reminders and more. Just say, “Alexa, play road trip songs”, “Alexa, call Dad”, “Alexa, play my Audible book”, “Alexa add black socks to my shopping list” or “Alexa, check ATMs nearby”.
