Amazon has unveiled a new update to its Echo lineup, introducing a new Echo device that make it even easier to access Alexa at home and on-the go at an incredible price point for customers. The Echo Pop device is a completely new form factor with a front-facing directional speaker, which delivers full sound and access to Alexa for just Rs 4,999.
Its compact design is perfect for a hostel room, apartment, or if you’re simply looking to add Alexa to more rooms in your home. Just ask Alexa to play music or your favourite podcast, control compatible smart home devices, answer questions, or track cricket scores—in English, Hindi, or Hinglish!
"With the Echo Pop smart speaker, we have amped up innovation in design to offer more options to customers,” said Parag Gupta, Director and Country Manager for Amazon Devices India. "Aesthetics have become an integral part of our choices today, and customers have always appreciated the audio experience of Echo smart speakers. We look forward to customer feedback on Echo Pop’s new design and audio, and hope that it will add more colour, fun, and entertainment to their homes.”
In addition to the familiar Black and White, Echo Pop comes in two new colour options—Purple and Green.
“It was a big challenge to imagine and deliver a powerful smart speaker at this price,” said Rajesh Parthasarathy, principal product manager on the team that built Echo Pop. “We designed a unique form factor and added two new colour options—we think customers are going to love it.”
