This Spanish period drama is about Hildegart Rodriguez, a prolific Spanish writer in the 1930s, who was raised by her mother and grew up to become a model for future women. Directed by Paula Ortiz, the film stars Najwa Nimri, Alba Planas, and Aixa Villagran, and will be on Prime Video from December 5.

7. Sting

Twelve-year-old Charlotte is secretly raising an unnervingly talented spider, which rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster. She must now fight for her family’s survival. Written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, this horror sci-fi will be available from December 5 and stars Noni Hazlehurs alongside Jermaine Fowler.

8. The Sticky (Season 1)

In the scenic streets of Izmir, calm-hearted Fatih and ambitious Istanbul lawyer Kumru are thrust together in a high-stakes race against time. With just 8 hours to crack a pivotal divorce case, their unexpected journey sparks twists that will reshape their lives. The Turkish rom-com will be available on Prime Video from December 6 and stars Ayça Aysin Turan and Furkan Andic.

11. Secret Level (Season 1)

Available on December 19, the drama-fantasy film is set in Ukraine, in the aftermath of the Russian invasion in February 2022. A witch from Konotop seeks revenge on the Russian soldiers, who killed her fiancé. Written by Yaroslav Voytseshek, the film stars Sahitov Artem, Charlie, and Nicholas Corda.

17. Beast Games (Season 1)

From the mind of MrBeast, this reality television competition series sees over 1,000 contestants compete in physical, mental, and social challenges for a $5 million cash payout. The first season will be available from December 19.

18. Mechanic Rocky

The Telugu action-drama stars Meenaakshi Chaudhary, Vishwak Sen, and Shraddha Srinath, and is directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi. It revolves around a mechanic, who uncovers a sinister plot during a feud with local gangsters over the ownership of his father’s garage. This will be available from December 20.

19. Butcher’s Crossing

Based on a popular novel by John Williams, Butcher’s Crossing is about an Ivy League dropout who travels to the Colorado wilderness. His life and sanity are at risk after he joins a team of buffalo hunters. Starring Nicholas Cage, Fred Hechinger, and Jeremy Bobb, this western drama directed by Gabe Polsky will be available on Prime Video on December 26.

20. Miss you

Available from December 27, this Tamil romantic comedy film stars S. Rajapandi, Siddharth, and V. Jayaprakash. It is centered around the protagonist, who is navigating a surprising conflict after proposing to the woman he loves.

21. Culpa Tuya
