Amazon’s free streaming service miniTV and Dice Media are launching a new romantic comedy called Half Love, Half Arranged, that offers a fresh perspective on love and arranged dating. Starring Maanvi Gagroo and Karan Wahi in lead roles, the trailer has just released and gives audiences a glimpse into the crazy circus of emotions that go into finding the perfect match.
What’s the plot?
The show takes us through the journey of a millennial gynaecologist Riya Tanwar (Gagroo) who has a roadmap for her entire life. She is set to get proposed to by her long-term boyfriend, but life suddenly takes an unexpected turn. Riya soon finds herself in the middle of arranged marriage matches and amusing dates, with a supportive yet quirky family in tow. As Riya tackles bizarre questions and hilarious meet-ups, in walks Prince Charming, who sweeps her off her feet and has her wondering if her simple road-map is what she wants to follow. Half Love, Half Arranged is premiering exclusively on Amazon miniTV from 12 October for free.
