Immerse yourself in Middle-earth with 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power'

At Fire TV, we are big fans of Tolkien’s world-building saga of Middle-earth. But you don’t have to know about half-elves and harfoots to enjoy watching the stories of adventure, emerging heroes, and epic battles. We’re excited to celebrate the premiere of The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power globally on Friday September 2, and we’ve got all the details on how to watch and bonus features to enjoy along the way.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is a mega-epic that tells the story of Middle-earth’s Second Age, set thousands of years before the events of Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books. Beginning in a time of relative peace and in a Golden Age of Middle-earth, the series chronicles the forging of the iconic Rings of Power, the rise of the evil dark Lord Sauron, the rise and fall of the Island Kingdom of Númenor, and the climactic battle of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.

The Rings of Power premieres globally on September 2, with new episodes launching each Friday. You can also watch by selecting the Prime Video app on Fire TV, or by asking, “Alexa, open Prime Video.” You can watch the episodes in English and many Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Fans of the show can also utilize the Watch Party feature on Prime Video to stream along with friends and family. With Watch Parties, you can chat with up to 100 friends while you enjoy The Rings of Power together. It’s almost like watching side-by-side in real life — without having to share your popcorn.
