1. Amazon Pay e-gift card: An Amazon Pay e-gift card is a convenient and instant for every occasion. It can be used to shop across millions of products on Amazon or pay on any of the Amazon Pay partner websites. To shop for e-gift Cards, click here.
2. Brand gift cards: Issued by brands across categories such as jewellery, travel and hospitality, food, entertainment and electronics, these gift cards can be bought from Amazon.in and redeemed on specific brand apps or stores depending on the brand.
3. Physical gift cards: Gift cards are also present in a physical variant. These are available in different formats such as boxes, envelopes, sleeves and greeting cards. They come pre-loaded with money selected by the purchaser at the time of placing order.
4. Anytime gift cards: Anytime gift cards are zero-value physical gift cards that you can purchase first and load balance into them later to activate them.

• Find gift cards on Amazon.in: Open the Amazon.in desktop site and find ‘Gift Cards’ option by clicking on the three vertical lines icon in the top left corner. On the Amazon shopping app, go to the bottom left corner of the home screen, click the icon with three vertical lines, and locate the “Gifting” option.
• Choose your gift card: Click on ‘Gift Cards’ and browse through several available options and pick one you like. It could be an eGift card for a special occasion or a branded gift card from your recipient’s favourite brand. You also have the choice of sending over a physical gift card to their home.
• Personalise your gift card: Add a custom message to make the card special. Select the desired gift card value.
• Choose your delivery method: You can either opt for email delivery and send the gift card directly to the recipient’s inbox or choose to share the gift card via a link to the messaging app of your choice— WhatsApp, SMS, or Instant Messenger (Apple devices only).
• Proceed to checkout: Select your preferred payment method, be it debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Remember, you cannot use your existing Amazon Pay Balance, a debit or credit card issued outside of India, or a gift card to purchase another gift card. Additionally, corporate credit cards and options like EMI or Pay on Delivery (POD) aren't available for purchasing these gift cards.

Typically, e-gift cards expire 12 months from the date of delivery, while scheduled email gift cards expire 15 months from the date of delivery. The expiry date of your gift card balance can be tracked under the ‘Your Transactions’ tab of your Amazon app/website account. You will also receive a reminder notification before the expiry date.

In the event your gift card balance has expired, keep your 16-digit numeric Gift Card Reference ID starting with '6014' handy and contact us for assistance.

Visit Amazon.in, load up your shopping cart with your goodies, and apply the code attached to the gift card at checkout. Don't worry if your cart exceeds the cash on the gift card. You can always use your credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking to add up the remaining amount and complete the purchase. Recipients can also use gift card balance to shop from 10,000+ apps.
