Amazon Pay: a one-stop destination for all your travel needs
Powered by travel partners such as IRCTC, RedBus and MakeMyTrip, Amazon Pay enables the best deals on flight, bus, and train bookings. One-click payments and instant refunds to your Amazon Pay Balance make the process seamless. Search, compare and book tickets to your favourite destinations with instant discounts on every journey. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to book flights, buses and trains on Amazon.in.
- Flights:
- Go to the Amazon Pay homepage on your Amazon.in shopping app or Amazon.in web browser and scroll down to find and click on Travel in the Quick Actions section. Next, click on the flights tab.
- You can directly go to the Amazon Pay homepage or simply search for ‘flight ticket booking’ on Amazon.in’s search bar (both mobile and desktop).
- On the flight booking page, add in all your journey details (dates, destination, number of travellers, etc) and book your flight.
- Upon confirmation, you will receive your flight’s e-ticket via email.
Please note that you can book a maximum of nine seats at a time and you can also choose your preferred seats through Amazon Pay. For more details, visit the Amazon Pay flights customer service page.
- Trains:
- Go to the Amazon Pay homepage on your Amazon.in shopping app or Amazon.in mobile web browser and click on Travel in the Quick Actions section. Next, click on the Trains tab.
- You can also type 'train ticket booking’' in the search bar of your shopping app or the Amazon.in browser (both mobile and desktop) to go to the train tickets booking page on Amazon Pay.
- Add the journey details (destination, travel dates, and more), and search to see trains available.
- While you can book onward and return journeys separately, tickets can be booked up to 120 days in advance, excluding the journey date from the originating station.
- A maximum of 6 people (5 years and older) can be booked in one transaction, with a monthly limit of 12 bookings per IRCTC user ID.

- Buses:
- Go to the Amazon Pay homepage on your Amazon.in shopping app or Amazon.in mobile web browser and click on Travel in the Quick Actions section. Next, click on the Bus tab.
- You can also type 'bus ticket booking’' in the search bar of your shopping app or the Amazon.in browser (both mobile and desktop) to go to the train tickets booking page on Amazon Pay.
- On the bus booking page, add your travel details and find available buses
- Once done, you will receive your e-ticket via email, and you can find the same in the Your Orders section.
- The ticket ID, distinct from the PNR, is RedBus' reference number. It is visible on your confirmation screen, e-ticket, and mticket.

- Hotels
- Hotel booking is also available on Amazon Pay with a selection of 100,000+ properties across 2,000+ cities in India through booking partner MakeMyTrip. You can also book international hotels.
- Go to Amazon Pay on the Amazon shopping app or mobile site and click on ‘Travel’ under ‘Quick Actions,’ where you can find the hotel booking page. Next, click on the Hotels tab.
- Once you have reached the hotel booking page, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your transaction.
- Once your hotel booking is confirmed, you will receive an email and SMS notification confirming the booking along with the Amazon order ID and MakeMyTrip order ID. You can also download your hotel booking confirmation voucher from Your Orders section of your Amazon.in account. You can find your hotel booking on Your Orders on Amazon.in.
