You can access this skill on Alexa-enabled devices like Echo smart speakers, and Echo Show displays. If you do not own an Echo smart speaker, you can also use it on your smartphone using the Alexa app. Here’s how to set up on different devices:
1. Echo Smart Speaker
- Download and launch: Begin by downloading the Alexa app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Sign in: Log in using your Amazon account credentials.
- Connect your Echo: Plug in your Echo device and wait for the light ring to turn orange. In the app, navigate to "Devices," tap the "+" icon, and select "Add Device." Choose your Echo device and follow the on-screen prompts to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Complete setup: Once connected, Alexa will greet you, signaling that your device is ready to use.
2. Alexa app on smartphone
- Download the app: Get the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
